Civan Lasers is a Jerusalem based Company established in 2008, specializing in the field of High-Brightness, High-Power Fiber lasers based on coherent beam combining (CBC) technology. Civan is a Vertically Integrated company and has over 75 patents protecting its unique technology.  As of today, it employs 180 people.

Civan is the first and only company in the world to successfully apply the CBC technology for high power applications. Its high power single mode lasers incorporate dynamic beam shaping and can change shape, position, and focal distance at 50MHz. Civan’s systems provide unprecedented control of the melt pool thereby enabling new and difficult welds, welding of dissimilar metals and increasing the speed and quality of more common welds. 

Laser welding has become a vital and essential component of the manufacturer’s process. It is involved in aerospace, automotive, additive manufacturing and more. Civan’s technology opens new possibilities in laser welding and material processing for those industries.
