  • Take the subway line U1 (for Hardhöhe) and
  • Get off at stop "Stadthalle"

  • Exit 85 "Nürnberg-Nord" towards Nürnberg
  • Follow "Äußere Bayreuther Straße" for 2 km
  • Turn left onto "Schafhofstraße"
  • Follow  "Schafhofstraße" for 450 m
  • Turn right onto "Klingenhofstraße"

By train / bus:

  • From Nuremberg central station
  • Take subway line U2 (for Flughafen)
  • Get off at stop "Herrnhütte"
  • For the remaining 500 meters you can either walk
  • Or take bus route 32 to "Bennostraße"

  • Exit "Erlangen-Zentrum"
  • Follow "Werner-von-Siemens-Straße"
  • Turn right onto "Henkestraße"
  • Turn left onto "Hartmannstraße"
  • Turn right onto "Artilleriestraße"
  • Turn right onto "Carl-Thiersch-Straße" and immediately turn left and then right onto "Konrad-Zuse-Straße"
  • Public parking is available near the institute

By train / bus:

  • Get off at Erlangen central station
  • In front of the station, take bus number 284 or 294 for Sieglitzhof/Eskilstunastr. and
  • Get off at bus stop "Berufsschulzentrum"

It takes about 10 minutes to get from Erlangen central station to the bus stop "Berufsschulzentrum". The LANE team will provide a special bus shuttle to the Institute of Photonic Technologies and back.
